About Us
A local, solely not for profit organisation, and affiliated with the Noranda Netball Association, our club champions the domestic Netball Competition and aims at fostering a growth mindset when it comes to all things Netball related. Our teams range from Net Set Go to Seniors and we believe a champion team is better than a team of champions.
This doesn’t mean we don’t love to win (because we do!) it just means that we value an excellent team spirit over a medal.
Our Story
Founded in 1982 by Lorraine O’Brien, the Rebels Netball Club has gone from strength to strength. Over four decades later, we are proud to welcome you to our club where these days our current President Peta Silvestro, an avid netballer herself, dedicates many hours of her time ensuring our kids have a safe, enjoyable and meaningful netball journey at Rebels.
Can You Volunteer?
Would you like to be part of our amazing Club? Our club would not exist were it not for a lineup of the most brilliant volunteers.
In the shape of Coaches (Coaches, where are you?!), Chief Bib Washers (washing the team bibs), First Aid Box Keeper (ensuring that the first aid kit is full, Executive Ball Pumper (pumping up balls), to General Scorer (scoring or timing.) We need you!
